As a filmmaker who taught many years at New York’s
Fashion Institute of Technology, all I can say is that you
need to be very talented and dedicated to pursue a
career in fashion photography. The best thing you can
do is to try to get a job as an assistant to someone whose
work you admire,and then be prepared to put up with
impossible hours and some impossible people. Your
choice of college seems a good first step, however!
