I need helping deciding what I want to do in the future as a career?
Am asked the question:
I am currently going to be an elementary teacher… i am GREAT with kids and i enjoy all of that but i am only really doing it so i can be off during the summer! I really like to be out side doing something…i thought about photography and i would love it but i want something to also fall back on. I love people and i am good at math…if that helps anyone…i just dont know what is out there…and i want a career in something that makes money…some anyways…any suggestions?

Can you recommend a relatively inexpensive DSLR camera?

I’m a high school student hoping on making a career in photography. I’ve never used an SLR camera before and am looking for an easy step up. I’d prefer a megapixel above 7.0 and a price below $900. Can anybody recommend me a camera that will last me for years as my skills advance?

What should my career be, my major? These are my interests?

I have no idea what to do with my life like most other people. I’m a sophmore at Michigan State University.
I don’t like ot stay in one place, I love travel!
I love things that have to d with art, any kind. I’m great at drawing and llove photography.
I love dog sledding.
I LOVE animals, but don’t want to become a vet.
I’m pretty good at math, eng, history etc. BUT would not want a career in any of these.
I’m great at interacting with peope and reading them.
I’m great at buying and selling things to other. I could pretty much sell you anything 
… but i wouldnt want to walk up to your door to sell you makeup as my career.
I need something that is fun and entertaining, something where I can travel and learn about other cultures at the same time or enjoy the environment and wildlife around me.
NOOOOO idea what I hould major in or what my career should be! Feel free to email me ANY advice is much apreciated!!!!! (yes I do have an app. with an advisor.)

Degrees in order to work as a photographer?

When I’m older, I want to work as a photographer. I’d love to work for National Geographic, but I’m not sure how realistic that is. I’m not exactly sure what type of photographer I’d like to be, but I’d like to work with wildlife photography and possibly photography of people. I’m not interested in fashion photography, I’d like to be as active with the environment and nature as possible. Is there any degrees that would be useful in order to pursue a career in photography?

Should I go into photography?

People tell me (well primarily adults) that I should pursue a career in photography. I recently enter into a competition in the category and was chosen to go to nationals. People at school got to see the work that I entered because my art instructor decided to post them up in the school office. He also thinks that I should go into photography as a profession. My problem is that photography doesn’t bring in a lot of money. I’m afraid that if I go to an arts college and major in photography that when I get out of school I will be struggling to make a payment. Thats why I’m skeptical. I know money isn’t the most important thing in choosing a career, but I do know that you do need money to survive.
